Abigail earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Methodist University, her Master of Science in Health and Kinesiology from Northeastern State University, and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from John Brown University in Arkansas. In 2002, she was a Certified Athletic Trainer who worked for a Physical Therapy clinic and performed patient treatments and outreach to the local high school football and basketball teams. During her Master's Program, Abigail worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for several college female and male athletics (football, softball, soccer, etc.). She also has experience in outpatient physical therapy at Womack Army Medical Center with active-duty soldiers and families, and pediatric outpatient clinic with infants to teenagers. After marrying and staying home to raise children for eight years, she returned to further her education once her children reached school age. Her background as an Athletic Trainer gave her knowledge of injuries and recovery, which inspired her to further her education and learn more about how to treat and heal the human body. Outside work, she loves spending time with her family and three dogs. Her husband is an Officer in the U.S. Army, her oldest son is at the United States Military Academy, her daughter is entering High School, and her youngest son is in middle school. She stays busy attending after-school sports and academic activities, as well as grilling, hiking, traveling, or playing water sports on the weekends. She also enjoys photographing nature, scenery, and her children during her free time. She loves this country and is very thankful for all those that stand up to serve our great nation.
