What is a Curbside Visit?
If you don't feel comfortable entering the clinic, you may ask to have your session performed in the parking lot. You may or may not have to get out of your car.
Video visits are a form of telehealth offered by Integrity Rehab + Home Health to easily connect you with one of our licensed therapists, all from the convenience of your home. Video visits are delivered one-on-one in real-time and are private. They may be offered in place of or in addition to in-person visits, dependent upon your condition and preference. In your home environment, your physical or occupational therapist can teach you how to apply self-corrective techniques, and instructions for home exercises are immediately more relatable. All you need is a computer or device with a camera, microphone and internet access to begin. Many insurances now cover telehealth visits.
What is an Off-site Visit?
As a certified Rehab Agency by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Integrity Rehab’s therapists can treat patients in any location. Your Integrity Rehab therapist may visit you in your home or another mutually agreed upon, safe location to perform the treatment. This allows you both to have greater social distancing, along with one-on-one private treatment so that you can focus on getting better.
Home Health enables homebound patients (even temporarily homebound) to receive attentive physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and even nursing visits from the comfort of inside or outside their homes. For physical and occupational therapy, evaluating your functional mobility in the home is optimal to maximize your function and safety in each room of the house. In addition to in-person visits, clinicians may also perform video visits. Home health care may span over a few weeks or even months. Home health is covered by Medicare and select other insurance plans.
